Terms and Conditions (PetOS)

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

2. Pet Health Disclaimer (Not Medical/Veterinary Advice)

PetOS is an informational and tracking tool only. It does not provide veterinary, medical, diagnostic, or emergency advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for health concerns. If your pet is in distress, contact emergency veterinary services immediately.

3. User Content

• You may upload content such as pet photos, documents, notes, and records (“User Content”).
• You retain ownership of your User Content.
• You grant PetOS a limited license to host, store, process, and display your User Content only as needed to operate the Service.
• You are responsible for ensuring your User Content is lawful and does not violate anyone else’s rights.

4. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, or exploit vulnerabilities
• Upload illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, or harmful content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Interfere with the Service, servers, or networks

5. Enforcement, Suspension, and Termination

We may remove content, restrict access, suspend, or permanently ban any account at any time for violations of these Terms, abuse, security concerns, or unlawful activity. Enforcement decisions are final.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

If PetOS offers paid features:

• Subscription billing and renewals are handled by the platform (Apple/Google/web processor).
• Purchases may be non-refundable except as required by law or platform policies.
• We may modify pricing or plans in the future with reasonable notice.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using PetOS, you consent to data handling described there.

8. Account Deletion

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Deletion removes your account data and stored content where possible. Some records may remain temporarily in backups/logs for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties (express or implied) regarding accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PetOS and its operator(s) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from use of the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of PetOS after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
